Wallingford Farmers Market Opens This Wed May 27

We're back for the season and trust you're just as excited as we are!

Join us in welcoming these new vendors to the Wallingford market family:

  • Lowercase Brewing, serving up small-batch beer produced in their Georgetown brewery/taproom
  • Harvest Beat, ready-to-eat vegan entrees from Wallingford's Sutra Restaurant
  • Melt, heat-and-serve artisan mac & cheese featuring local ingredients, whipped up by Sammy & Jarred, the adventurous duo who just a few years ago moved to Seattle from New York City

Many of your old favorites will also be on hand, including Two If By Seafoods (wild Alaskan salmon); Olsen Farms (taters and grass-fed meat); NuFlours (gluten-free treats); and Alvarez Organic Farms (veg, legumes and fruit), to name just a few. 

To help kick off the festivities, our Farm Stand demo will feature local cookbook author/chef Kim O'Donnel, who also is SFMA's new social media maven. Kim will fire up her wok and make a hot salad based on what's available at market, Iron Chef style.  Come by for a taste around 4 p.m.
