Opening Day for 2012 is Wednesday, May 30th!

Your Wallingford Farmers Market returns for it's 7th season on Wednesday, May 30th at 3:30 p.m. And we'll be treated to another great cooking demonstration by Chef Jason Brzozowy of Tilth at 4 p.m. Jason works with great, fresh, local ingredients every day in his kitchen, and he'll be sharing simple, delicious ideas you can use in your own!

Skagit River Ranch will join our already stellar lineup of vendors at your Wallingford Farmers Market this season. In addition to all their amazing beef, pork, lamb, chicken, bacon, sausage and eggs ready for you to take home and cook, they will also be doing a little cooking of their own, grilling burgers and sausages from the farm right at the Market!

Remember, 3:00-3:30 p.m. each Wednesday is set aside for chefs only to shop at your Wallingford Farmers Market. This allows chefs to shoot in quickly, pickup pre-arranged orders for their kitchens from our farmers, and get out fast without having to wait in lines. It also gives the kids in Good Shepherd Center a chance to get picked up safely from day camp before you all descend upon your favorite farmers market. Please respect both groups and try to contain yourself until 3:30 p.m. Also, please respect our neighbors who inhabit Good Shepherd Center and do not park in their parking lot. It is best if you walked, took transit, rode your bike, or, if you must drive, park on the west side of the Market, along Meridian Avenue N., and enter the market from Meridian.
