Billy's Organic Produce, from Tonasket, returned to Wallingford last week with these colorful peppers, as well as tomatoes, basil, blueberries and more. Also with blueberries this week should be Sidhu. And Jessie's should have marionberries, loganberries and blackberries. Tiny's and Collins have early peaches, and Tiny's also has the first nectarines of the season.
Wallingford Farmers Market welcomes the return of Pipitone Farms and Martin Family Orchards today. Pipitone has beautiful, sweet and juicy apricots, and Martin has cherries at their peak. Sea Breeze has fresh chickens and pork, just butchered and ready for the barby.
Chef Sara Moot, from Persimmon, will perform a cooking demonstration at 4 p.m. today at Wallingford Farmers Market. Chef Moot is always fun and informative, and best of course, we get to taste her creations.
And be sure to look for your Wallingford Farmers Market in the Wallingford Kiddie Parade this Saturday, July 11th, at 11 a.m. along N. 45th Street.
