Chef Dustin Ronspies of Art of the Table is all healed up from his illness on opening day, and he will indeed be in attendance at Wallingford Farmers Market today to entertain and educate us with one of his infamous cooking demonstrations. Chef Dustin, after all, is the one who defined Walingford cooking demonstrations, just as he is redefining the dining experience at his Wallingford eatery, Art of the Table.
Stoney Plains has green beans today, along with daikon radishes, carrots, beets and beet greens, strawberries, kale, "Tenino" sweet onions, chard, and much, much more. Summer Run has carrots, baby beets, broccoli, peas and chard. Magana has cherries, summer squash, peas, garlic, apples and "Sunnyside" sweet onions. Also with summer squash are Alvarez, Full Circle and Sidhu. Alvarez also has lettuce, bok choy, beets, peanuts, dried beans, peas, onions, garlic and more. Also with cherries are Ayala, ACMA, Collins and Lyall.
And Tiny's has Apriums, along with strawberries and other goodies.
See you at the Market!
